This is why it sometimes pays to think like the enemy. I see these and think "easy target".

nonenosome

I would be looking for a gun control sticker more than a hunting sticker.

kaldicuct

Means they dont have guns for me to steal when no one is home. (Which was the point)

Thenagain, I'm thinking burglary, guessing you're thinking of something more.. splashy.

urbanfantasyinspiration

The only stickers I put on my car is a parking decal

i-am-the-broken-bride

The baby on board sticker also serves as an alert for first responders, though.

And I think if you have a sticker saying "I'm armed" you're less likely to get targeted.

dadpat--tactual

I think the “I’m armed” type is more about someone targeting your home when you’re not there, as opposed to someone targeting you at your car

ariesfire0704

My firearm & hunting insurance company just gave me a car sticker. It won’t be going on the car though.

The Fireslinger’s Last Stand

Undead hate fire. Everyone knows this but perhaps it runs deeper than that, for if you think about it, fire is in many ways the basis from all human civilization, and since, by their very being, the undead are the antithesis of humanity perhaps fire is then the antithesis of the undead. If fire is what keeps the rabble of the world safe and warm in their homes at night perhaps it is the cold and damp of the ghoul’s caves that keep them safe in the day?

There is little time to ponder these matters however as I have little time to waste. The horde are coming and the only fire in this dank crypt will be flowing from my finger tips and the barrel of my magilock rifle. I have tried lighting torches but some foul magic has cursed this place. If anyone finds this, please tell my dearest Elizabeth I love her dearly and I will light myself up in flames before I become one of those… things.

I can hear them now, scratching and clawing at the makeshift barrier I have constructed, it will not be long before they break through. I have little tinder and ammunition left but I must delve deeper into this terrible domicile of undeath. There is a necromancer here and I have sworn on my honor to kill him, for the sake of my Order and the sake the poor village folk here. If I am not successful, made God have mercy on you all.

I have made it to the lower reaches of the catacombs by the grace of God, and dare I say my own magic. I lost my kettlehelme in the tunnels before but I know I am close the necromancer now. The horde is behind me and I must fight before I go on. These seem to be made mostly of fresh corpses. They do not take to the flame as easily as the older ones but it holds them at bay for a time.

The fingers on my left hand have gone numb and I dare not light a flame to see the accursed damage my magic has wrought on mine own body. They can still clutch my magilock and I pray I can aim it true when I come face to face with the abomination who has caused such suffering in these lands. I have saved my final bundle of pitch, twigs, and tar. With its aid and the grace of God I will be able to summon a conflagration to keep off this seemingly endless tide of shambling undead at my back. I have slain so many and yet they just keep coming.

I doubt these frantic scribblings will be found this deep but I pray, I pray I am successful in my mission. Tell Elizabeth I love her like the moon and stars, I love her more than the sea at night and meat pies. Once I light the bundle and say the words I go to face the necromancer. I believe I am outside his unholy sanctum and with the power of God and The Flame within me I will scorch his foul existence from this beloved world.

Elizabeth, Elizabeth my dearest one, my dearest love… I have done my duty. I have slain the necromancer. I have saved the village, though I am sure I will succumb to my wounds, equally inflicted by my flames and the horde. I was so certain and yet so wrong about the necromancer.

Elizabeth, I told you not to read that book. I told you it was heresy and would only lead to more suffering. Your brother’s death was terrible to us all, but was it was worth so much horror and death to bring him back? Damn you, Elizabeth, love of my life.

I know someone will find this, now that my duty is done. It took all I had and more. My magilock rifle lays spent and broken but I have honored my Order and God and I laying here dying as a man fulfilled. Writing is hard now as my finger tips turn to ash. To whoever finds this, know that I died in the arms of my beloved Elizabeth, twisted as she may have become, we are once again one, at peace in the eyes of God.
